Cada tableta viene dentro de una caja de tela adornada con una reproducci\u00f3n de la ic\u00f3nica litograf\u00eda \u00abMade in California\u00bb (1971) de Ruscha.\n<\/p>\n<p>El chocolate en s\u00ed fusiona los sabores del chocolate negro peruano con sal marina procedente de la bah\u00eda de Tomales, al norte de San Francisco, y aceite de oliva de naranja sanguina de un rancho en el condado de Sonoma \u2014 un verdadero homenaje al Golden State en su totalidad.\n<\/p>\n<p>Aunque a primera vista la colaboraci\u00f3n pueda parecer inusual, evoca la c\u00e9lebre instalaci\u00f3n de Ruscha de 1970, \u00abChocolate Room\u00bb, que se present\u00f3 en la 35\u00aa Bienal de Venecia. La obra \u2014revivida para sus retrospectivas en el MoMA y el LACMA en 2023 y 2024\u2014 presentaba muros cubiertos con l\u00e1minas serigrafiadas en chocolate, empleando tubos de pasta de chocolate Nestl\u00e9 que recordaban a la pintura al \u00f3leo.\n<\/p>\n<p>Cuando The New York Times plante\u00f3 la pregunta en la mente de todos \u2014\u00ab\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 chocolate?\u00bb\u2014 Ruscha explic\u00f3: \u00abEstaba un poco cansado de hacer im\u00e1genes convencionales.
